This hotel features an inviting waterfront setting at Port of Kenosha Harbor. The oversize pool area is well-appointed. The guest rooms are contemporary and offer cushy mattresses and bedding. If you want to do some sightseeing, check out the Civil War Museum or the Dinosaur Discovery Museum located near the hotel. The staff was wonderful. Location was great. We had a split stay. You can tell it is an older hotel and has been renovated. Our first room on the 2nd floor, the refrigerator door was unlatched. There were crumbs and chip bags behind the bureau the tv was on. It was very noisy-people came in around 1:30 am, sounded like fighting. Someone must have called the cops because they came and was going to kick the people out but ended up de-escalating the situation. The second time we were on the 3rd floor-seemed more clean and was much quieter. The breakfast in the morning was very good-nice variety each day.
I had to have the shower unclogged 2 days in a row, The room phone had no wires attached to it. I had to call the front desk with my cell phone, the cleaning staff were arguing LOUDLY with each other at 7:30 am in the halls. The thermostat in the room is not hooked to anything you have to go to the cooling unit and adjust it manually
