the thermostat did not work which left the room hot, the shower was a slipping hazard the sheets under the cover did no look properly cleaned. We ended up leaving at 4am and not waiting till before check out.

Incredible view. Great responsiveness by valet. Access to Point State Park was FEET (and seconds), not blocks and hours. Room was clean. Elevators were responsive and quick. Certainly now my go-to for stays in PGH.

The room had no refrigerator, and the A/C didn’t really work. But not bad for a One Night stay.
I was disappointed with the availability of breakfast. The line for grab and go coffee and baked goods was at least a 20 minute wait, with one person working. When another worker came, things got a little better. The restaurant was only open on weekends. The wait to be seated Sunday morning was very long, and were told it would be at least 40 minutes, and they wouldn’t take our name. We had to wait. There was no ice machine on our floor. The wait for elevators was very long. One time we took the stairs from the 14th floor to go down. Unacceptable! The reservation was for three adults, and had to call for linens and pillow for the pullout sofa.
