YVE Hotel, Miami

The hotel room looks nothing like the pictures. The first room they gave us was disgusting. Pieces of trash on the floor, the headboard was peeling, like fake leather, and the sheets were stained. The bathroom was extremely small and the room smelled as well. They changed our room which was slightly better but the headboard was still peeling and the sheets were stained. They came to change my sheets and when they started pulling the sheets off there were even more stains underneath. They even took the mattress protector off and the whole thing crumbled. Plastic was everywhere. We asked for more wash rags and no one ever came. When we came back from being out at night we asked for some and they told us they didn’t have any more. The hotel was less than good but the staff was pleasant.

Great location. Closed to peir so it gets two starts. The hotel has two very small elevators for 16 floors so the wait was always long. The bathroom inside my cruise cabin was larger than the bathroom at this hotel. The room and hotel showed signs of age. Mold and rust in the bathroom tub. They charge $20 additional for internet but I could never get it to work. Luckily it was only a one night stay before cruising but had it been more than one night I would have definitely checked out and went elsewhere
