A landmark from the 1940s, this restaurant's knotty-pine dining room overlooking the Piscataqua River is charming and inviting. The soup and salad bar is a meal in itself and has more than 50 selections. The house specialty is lobster naturally (priced daily), but the wide menu also has burgers, steak, and chicken dishes and plenty of other seafood—so if it lives in Maine waters it will be on the menu.
