The Denize Bluffs is a location used for numerous scenes in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, one of which was Trollshaws Forest. Visitors can take a tour with Hairy Feet Waitomo, taking in the sites of filming locations including Trollshaw Forest and more . The tour is fully guided and starts with a short drive through farmland before taking an easy walk around the sites used for filming.
