Dog sledding has been a traditional way to travel and hunt across the Arctic for centuries, and now you can experience it for yourself. Your guide will teach you how to handle the sled and offer helpful tips so you can enjoy every moment as a musher—connecting with nature, the dogs, and the thrill of the Arctic wilderness. You’ll meet friendly Alaskan huskies, each with unique names and personalities, who love to run and welcome plenty of cuddles. As you glide across open tundra and through snow-covered forests, you’ll feel the bond between you and the dogs grow stronger. During the day, you’ll admire breathtaking views of the Lyngen Alps, and in the darker months, you may witness the northern lights dancing in the sky above. Two people share each sled, and you’ll have the chance to switch positions and take memorable photos along the route.
