Overview
Tour is operated by TRAVELIST GEORGIA and can be customized. Svaneti is one of the most beautiful mountainous regions not only in Georgia, but arguably in the whole of Eastern Europe. The five days (4 nights) tour to Svaneti is an adventure & sightseeing tour accompanied with the ultimate cultural immersion experience. Day 1 - Tbilisi - Mestia. A long but scenic drive with optional stops in Gori and Zugdidi. Day 2 - Mestia - Chalaadi Glacier hike - Hatsvali mountain cable car ride - Mestia. Day 3 - Mestia - Ushguli - La Maria church visit - optional hike to Shkara glacier - Mestia. Day 4 - Mestia - Becho gorge - Shtugra waterfall hike - Mestia. Day 5 - Mestia - Enguri hydropower station and dam visit - optional stop for lunch on Rikoti pass - Tbilisi.
