Sundarijal-Chisapani-Nagarkot: 3-Day Trek for All Levels Day 1: Sundarijal to Chisapani Starting 15 kilometers north of Kathmandu, the journey commences in the scenic village of Sundarijal. The day's hike, lasting 5-6 hours, winds through the dense forests of Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, culminating in the quaint village of Chisapani. Along the way, hikers can relish in the rich biodiversity, including playful monkeys and elusive deer. Day 2: Chisapani to Nagarkot Day two is marked by a 4-5 hour hike from Chisapani to the renowned Nagarkot. As a vantage point boasting unparalleled Himalayan views, Nagarkot is a haven for those chasing breathtaking panoramas, with sights of Mount Everest gracing clear days. Day 3: Nagarkot to Kathmandu The final day involves a 2-3 hour descent from the heights of Nagarkot back to the Kathmandu. Some sections can be a bit steep, but the trail rewards with a blend of nature and cultural glimpses of local life.
