Overview
Set off with your private guide on a half day tour to explore the colourful islands of Murano and Burano, possibly the most evocative of the whole archipelago. Your tour from Venice to Murano and Burano begins as you board your motorboat and set off across the Venetian Lagoon to your first stop, the island of Murano, world renowned for its ancient tradition of glass making. Marvel at glass masters blowing glass right in front of the furnace and enjoy a visit at their elegant show room. The excursion then continues to the island of Burano, famous for its colourful houses and the hand-crafted lace works, true works of art created by the local ladies. Head back to Venice after this fascinating boat trip in the Venetian Lagoon. The stops on the islands will be about an hour in Murano and a hour and a half in Burano.
