Founded in 1831 by Capt. Joseph Naper, Naperville has many restored Victorian homes downtown. The Riverwalk, a brick walkway with fountains and covered bridges, begins at the foot of Chicago Avenue and Main Street, and follows the DuPage River for several miles. At the Riverwalk's west end stands the 168-foot-tall Millennium Carillon in Moser Tower. Built to commemorate the new millennium, the concert-quality carillon houses 72 bronze bells and is one of the largest in the world. Learn More...
