Sitting literally in the water, the beautiful and unpretentious main dining room here is as romantic and magical a setting as New York likely has.
AAA Inspector Notes
Classic. Located directly under the Brooklyn Bridge, a cobblestone drive leads to the lush garden entrance of this floating restaurant. An enclosed gangplank crosses over to a lovely flower-filled dining room which commands a panoramic view of Manhattan. The nearby water ferry makes the short jaunt across the river most regularly. A splendid prix-fixe menu offers luxury rooted in tradition with Wagyu beef, Hudson Valley foie gras, Colorado rack of lamb, Nova Scotia lobster and sea bass. Jackets required.
