Great Wolf Lodge
AAA Inspector Rating
AAA Inspector 31: I really like the fact that this place offers families, with children of all ages, lots of opportunity to do things together from morning till night.
Whether enjoying the water park, arcade, the wolf-park tour, playing a game of checkers in the lobby or other play areas and seasonal adventures, this hotel is a fantastic place for the entire family. A nice selection of guest rooms are available, including some with bunk beds and a popular kids' cabin.
AAA Inspector 450: There's something for everyone in my family here. Both for those who love the outdoors and for those of us who like pampering in the world class spa!
It's said that at one time Marilyn Monroe frequented this resort set along the shore of gorgeous Lac Beauvert in its spectacular mountain setting. Rooms range from upscale rustic to fabulous décors. Guest rooms are spread throughout the sprawling property comprised of a series of buildings. Guests never get bored with the multitude of activities and scenic grounds. Service is superlative.
AAA Inspector 450: I doubt very much that kids of any age could get bored here. Seemingly endless activities include a fabulous 11-slide water park.
Attractive to both families and adults, this lovely 22-acre all-inclusive resort has a great layout. Spacious, tasteful rooms have comfortable sitting areas. There are also some luxurious suites. Those come in a variety of categories, some with concierge service. In addition to all of the traditional land and water activities, there is a great xBox play lounge and a comprehensive kid's camp area. Golf is included but does require a mandatory caddie for which there is a fee.
AAA Inspector 503: When my family visits, they love to stay here so the kids can enjoy the expansive pool area with waterslides and a lagoon with gondola rides.
This upscale resort features a 2.5-acre water playground, 3-story waterslide, man-made beach, spa and recreational activities along with spacious rooms and casitas. Also featured is complimentary nightly music, 24-hour market, Camp Hyatt for young guests and a Native American learning center.
AAA Inspector 563: Family's love this place! Boasting three pools, an indoor miniature golf course and a huge game room, kids can burn off lots of restless energy here.
This riverfront, Bavarian-themed resort offers extensive recreational facilities, including four pools, one of which is exclusively for adults. The property is close to downtown shops and restaurants. This property features a variety of room types ranging from standard guest rooms to spacious suites that can accommodate larger families. Kids of all ages can have fun for hours in the game room that’s one of the largest in the state.
AAA Inspector 569: With a kids club and activities ranging from Hawaiian language sessions and lei making to coconut painting, this is where I'm bringing the family!
Prepare to be wowed by the upscale, condo-style units at this newly opened property, which sits on a beautiful stretch of beach. Units include a full kitchen. Be sure to check out the extensive list of daily activities offered at this resort.
AAA Inspector 46: If I was a kid, I wouldn't want to leave this resort. There are so many fun activities in season and the most amazing indoor water park on the Cape.
Your family will love the resort's 30,000 square-foot indoor water park complete with lazy river, numerous slides, wave pool, and kiddie splash zone. Other seasonal activities, such as outdoor movies on the lawn and magic shows, will keep the kids entertained every minute of the day while the adults run to the full-service on-site spa to unwind and relax. Attractively landscaped grounds surround this resort and the Romanesque outdoor pool complete with dramatically lit waterfall. A dozen or so luxury suites with gourmet kitchen areas, steam showers and memory-foam mattresses are available for those looking for a more upscale experience. Nightly bonfires are held in season at the outdoor fire pit on a man-made beach area, which is a popular spot to gather.
AAA Inspector 563: After spending a fun day at the dunes, there are plenty of options to keep everyone busy including the playground and making s'mores at the fire pits.
Located a short distance from the Silver Lake Sand Dunes, this family-run motel offers extremely clean guest rooms. Each room features a hand-painted mural of a Michigan lighthouse. Fresh flowers and lush landscaping surround the inviting pool and hot tub area.
AAA Inspector 24: My kids would love the infinity pool, mini golf and summertime nightly movies at the pool. I always love the spectacular views!
The resort features cabin-style duplexes, plus one- and two-bedroom condos that can be expanded to even larger units via connecting room doors. All rooms have 58 inch LCD TVs. Many units have fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. Nature trails lead from the property into the densely wooded forest of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Be sure to visit the new infinity pool!
AAA Inspector 334: A families come first program is available for kids and babies. I wouldn't miss the toy store or the afternoon tea and sandwiches with a live harpist.
Inspired by the charm of Europe's classic hotels, the Grand was crafted from the finest materials, such as Italian chandeliers and marble, West African woods and French tapestries. You're in for a memorable experience here. The convenient underground parking is climate controlled for all seasons. If you've brought the family, you may want to consider a suite; pick up a kid kit or inquire about the baby's first program. The shops at the Grand include a ladies boutique, men's haberdashery, a coffee and sweet shop, along with a must-see toy store.
