Pay parking is available at the museum’s parking garage, with additional street parking in the surrounding area. If you're using public transportation, the Arts Center Transit station is just a 5-minute walk away; take the red or gold metro line to the station, or bus line 27, 37, 40, 110, or 203.
It’s easy to combine the High Museum of Art, which is open Tuesday to Sunday, with nearby attractions in the Atlanta Arts District. Ticketed entry ends 1 hour before closing each day, and weekends are the busiest days at the museum. The museum offer a daily afternoon tour (free with admission), as well as other events.
The museum has a café in the lobby, offering sandwiches, salads, and light bites, and if you've packed a lunch, you can eat at tables outside the High. Across from the museum, you'll find a small menu at the Twelve Eighty Lounge, Tuesday through Saturday.
