Amman City Mall
King Abdulla II Street, Amman, Jordan
One of Jordan's largest malls, Amman City Mall offers an array of international brands, including Levi’s, Calvin Klein, Mango, and Ted Baker. It also offers home decor, toys, a supermarket, a wide range of food options, and a multiplex cinema with an IMAX screen. The sleek interior with its glass roof is more stylish than it looks from the outside.
The basics
Jordan is a small country, with a population less than half that of the NYC metro area, so northern hemisphere travelers in search of Dubai-scale shopping indulgence may be a little disappointed in Amman City Mall. Many travelers will also find prices for international brands higher than at home. Still, whether you’re seeking retail therapy, movies, or your favorite Western junk food, it’s still worth the trip out west—particularly on a rainy day.
