The basics

Whether you’re a solo traveler looking to indulge in spa services and relaxation, or a family seeking activities and adventure, Aqua Dome has it all. A full-day admission ticket allows you to stay as long as you like and doesn’t have to be booked in advance. On weekdays the water park is open for a full 12 hours from 10am until 10pm, while it closes at 7pm on weekends.

Things to know before you go

• There are both public and private showers available, as well as private changing areas.

• Belongings can be kept in lockers, which require a €1 coin.

• Your general admission ticket grants you access to the water park, but the spa and mini golf have additional costs.

• Families should be aware that babies under 3 months of age are not allowed to go in the water and that children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

• You must bring your own towel or purchase one for €12 at the reception desk.

How to get there

Aqua Dome is located on Dan Spring Road in Tralee at the roundabout for Dingle Road. If you’re driving, there’s plenty of free parking available on-site. Alternatively, the city bus stops at Dan Spring Road, which is about a 7-minute walk from Aqua Dome’s entrance.

When to get there

Since an Aqua Dome admission ticket grants you full-day access, it doesn’t really matter what time you visit. If you want to avoid crowds, then a weekday is always quieter, when the site is open until late.
