Best Of All Lookout

Springbrook National Park, Gold Coast, Queensland, 4213

Located high on a plateau in Springbrook National Park, part of the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Gondwana Rainforests, the Best of All Lookout certainly lives up to its name. It offers expansive and spectacular views of the Gold Coast Hinterland, the Gold Coast coastline, and the Pacific Ocean.

The basics

As you walk along the 1,148-foot (350-meter) trail to the viewing platform, look out for eucalyptus trees and Antarctic Beech trees in the surrounding subtropical and temperate rainforest. At the viewing platform, take in the stunning views of Mt. Warning, Mt. Cougal, Tweed Valley, and coastal views from the Gold Coast to Byron Bay.

Most visitors visit Best of All Lookout and Springbrook National Park on a day trip from Brisbane or the Gold Coast. Opt to visit Springbrook National Park, or in combination with nearby Mt. Tamborine National Park.
