• Admission tickets to the BOH Tea Garden are free and include a tour of the processing plant.
• There’s BOH a gift shop where you can purchase different varieties of tea, as well as on-site restrooms.
• If you plan to explore the tea plantations on foot, ensure you’re wearing sturdy shoes and a light jacket as temperatures in the highlands are much cooler than elsewhere in Malaysia.

How to get there

The access route to the BOH Tea Garden lies around two miles (three kilometers) beyond Ringlet Town, or four miles (six kilometers) before Tanah Rata along the main road. The steep and winding road leading up to the plantation is only recommended for experienced drivers; opt for a tour with round-trip transfers to avoid the hassle of navigation.

When to get there

BOH Tea Garden (BOH Tea Plantation) is open Tuesday-Sunday from the early morning until mid-afternoon. It gets particularly busy on weekends when it's advised that you arrive as early as possible.
