Cassorova Eco Park

Situated just outside the city of Brotas, in the Brazilian state of São Paulo, Cassorova Eco Park offers a serene nature escape. The park is best known for its 196-foot (60-meter) waterfall, which has been rated one of the most beautiful in Brazil.
The Basics
Walk through the park along a pathway that takes you to natural pools with mini waterfalls and several different lookouts. The highlight is Cassorova Falls, which is located in a forested valley and can be viewed from a suspension bridge across a valley—the force of the water is so strong you need to wear a (provided) helmet. After TK, take a swim in the natural pool formed beneath the waterfall or enjoy rappelling and ziplining nearby.

How to Get There
Cassorova Eco Park is roughly a 40-minute drive from the city of Brotas and a 15-minute drive from the town of São Sebastião da Serra. You cannot reach the park via public transportation.
When to Get There
The park is open every day from morning through early evening and is busiest on weekends and public holidays. Give yourself at least 2 hours to thoroughly explore and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Quatis Waterfall
While Cassorova Waterfall is the most famous of the park’s sights, the 150-foot (46-meter) Quatis Waterfall, set in a lush forest, is also impressive. The hike to the waterfall is a little less than a mile (1,500 meters). Once there, enjoy a swim and keep an eye out for birds, coatis, deer, and monkeys.
