The Basics

The park is divided into several sections. The highest and fastest slides are found in the Paradise Island section, which also features swimming pools on various levels, a whirlpool, waterfall, and wide sandy beach. The Iceberg slide is designed to evoke the feeling of sliding down a glacier; the Rain Forest has climbing nets to prove your athletic abilities; and Robinson's Beach takes you across a suspended walkway to a tree house. Visitors can also play beach volleyball, soccer, or Frisbee and swim in a half-size Olympic pool.

How to Get There

Less than a 20-minute drive from Peschiera del Garda, the park offers free parking. Those without a car can use the park’s shuttle service, which departs from Porta Brescia in Peschiera del Garda in the morning and returns in the early evening.

When to Get There

Cavour Water Park is open from June through early September, from midmorning until evening. Rides close 15 minutes before closing. Budget-conscious travelers should plan to arrive in the afternoon, when ticket prices are lower.

Wellness in the Park

It’s not all adrenaline-pumping activities at Cavour Water Park. Wellness lovers can enjoy a stroll along the Kneipp path, over river pebbles and through baths of hot and cold water. Named for a 19th-century German priest and wellness proponent, Kneipp paths are known for reducing stress, improving circulation and posture, and regulating blood pressure.
