When to Get There

The Colchagua Valley is accessible year-round, and the views are best on cloudless days. For the warmest weather, head to the vineyards between October and May (with December through February being the hottest months). Best Vineyards in the Colchagua Valley

There’s no shortage of vineyards in the Colchagua Valley, and many are accessible on a day-trip from nearby Santiago or as part of a hassle-free tour. Admire the sweeping views from the observatory or cable car at the Santa Cruz Vineyard. Vik Wine Vineyard combines wine-tasting with contemporary art. And Casa Silva is an award-winner with one of the oldest wine cellars in the Colchagua Valley.
