Fitzgerald’s Park is located on the Mardyke on the banks of the River Lee, about a 30-minute walk from Cork center. If arriving by car, paid parking is available nearby at Perrott’s Inch car park. It’s possible to reach the park by public transportation; take the 208 or 220 bus to Western Road Glucksman. Cycling is another popular way to get around the city.

Fitzgerald’s Park is open daily year-round, although hours are seasonal. The park typically opens in the morning around 8.30am, while closing time varies depending on the time of year—check the park website for the latest hours.
