How to get there
Futuroscope is located 6 miles (10 kilometers) north of the city of Poitiers in central-eastern France, about a three-hour drive from Paris and a 90-minute drive from La Rochelle. If driving, take exit 28 off the A10 motorway or catch a high-speed TGV train from Paris.
When to get there
The park is usually open from February through December, but is most crowded during the summer holidays from June through August. Visit in the spring or fall, or on weekdays in summer to avoid the crowds on Saturday and Sunday.
La Forge aux Étoiles
One of the most popular attractions at Futuroscope is the nightly water and firework show created by Cirque du Soleil, featuring a spellbinding mix of acrobatics and special effects to play out a fairytale friendship between a small girl and a giant. Showtimes vary during the year, so check the schedule carefully, so you don’t miss out on this spectacular highlight.
