Take part in one of the most popular spectator sports in Hong Kong—horse racing—and enjoy an exciting night out at Happy Valley Racecourse. The Basics

There are a number of ways to enjoy a night of racing at Happy Valley Racecourse. Visitors can be in the thick of things in the public enclosure and stands, or pay extra to access the members’ private enclosure or a private box with a group. Or watch the action from any number of bars and restaurants, ranging from the course-side Beer Garden to high up in the Racing Club. Learn more about the history of the sport at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Archive and Museum.

Purchase different tickets for different levels of access. Some of the venues offer packages that include food and drinks. For the most convenience, join a guided racing tour, which includes transport, food and drinks, a tour of the facilities, and even a betting voucher. Nightlife enthusiasts can keep the party going by combining a stop here with a pub crawl.
