IMG Worlds of Adventure
E311, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, City of Arabia, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Covering an area of 28 American football fields, IMG Worlds of Adventure in Dubai is the world’s biggest indoor theme park. Situated on the edge of the city, this destination offers six adventure zones—Marvel, Cartoon Network, Lost Valley, IMG Boulevard, The Haunted Town, and IMG Kids Zone—all based on the fantasy worlds of movie superheroes.
The Basics
Explore IMG Worlds of Adventure and enjoy everything from daredevil roller coasters and rides to high-tech family entertainment. Visitors enter via IMG Boulevard—a welcome zone of restaurants, shops, and interactive experiences—before discovering the six main zones at leisure. Brave the Spider-Man and Iron Man rides at Marvel; join the Powerpuff Girls to battle evil in the character-filled Cartoon Network zone; and brave the Velociraptor coaster in the dinosaur-ridden jungles of the prehistoric Lost Valley.
Prebook an all-day ticket online to skip the long lines, or for added convenience, buy a ticket-and-transfer tour that includes round-trip transport from Dubai. Other options include combo tours that team a park visit with a Dubai city tour or entry to other UAE theme parks.
Things to Know Before You Go
IMG Worlds of Adventure is unmissable for thrill seekers, and Marvel, Cartoon Network, dinosaur, and movie fans of all ages.
Wear comfy shoes; the park is massive and you’ll need to crisscross from zone to zone.
You can hire lockers to stow personal items during a visit.
ATMs, restrooms, and wheelchair and stroller hire are available inside the park.
How to Get There
Located in the City of Arabia district in south Dubai, IMG Worlds of Adventure is easily reached by car via the E311 highway. Parking is available, but you can skip the fuss of self-drive by using the regular park shuttle buses from select Dubai hotels or by booking a tour with return transfers.
When to Get There
IMG Worlds of Adventure is open year-round, from 12pm to 10pm Sunday to Thursday, and 12pm to 11pm Friday to Saturday. Weekends are popular—especially in high season—so aim for a weekday trip to beat the crowds. July and August are the quietest times to visit, with the air-conditioned park providing a refuge from the summer heat.
Tips for Hassle-Free Visits
Take a sweater; the park’s air conditioning means it can feel chilly inside. Plus, if you’ve arrived early, take the simulator and thrill rides first to avoid the lines that can develop later.
