New York City, NY

Part of New York City’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Jazz at Lincoln Center has delighted listeners for more than 30 years. With a house big band led by the legendary Wynton Marsalis, and a rotating roster of shows featuring guest artists, Jazz at Lincoln Center holds performances in three dedicated venues, all hosted at Midtown Manhattan’s Columbus Circle.

The basics

For New York City jazz lovers, there are few better or more esteemed places to catch a swinging gig than Jazz at Lincoln Center. Featuring regular appearances from some of the world’s most celebrated jazz musicians—and consisting of three distinct performance spaces, all hosted within the organization’s Frederick P. Rose Hall—it’s an especially noteworthy and beautiful place to see a show. Head to the Rose Theater to discover the world’s first concert hall built explicitly for jazz music, the Appel Room to admire spectacular New York skyline views, and to Dizzy’s Club—which seats just 140—for the most intimate performances.

Jazz at Lincoln Center hosts daily concerts across its three performance spaces. It’s best to book your tickets well in advance, as shows do sell out.
