POINT OF INTEREST

Juventus Stadium

Corso Gaetano Scirea, 50, Turin, Piedmont, 10151

Home to one of Italy’s most popular and decorated soccer teams, Juventus Stadium is a must-visit Turin attraction for sports fans. Opened in 2011 following the demolition of the team’s previous Stadio delle Alpi, Juventus Stadium—also known as Allianz Stadium—also hosts the Juventus Museum and companion shopping center.

The Basics

Able to seat upwards of 41,000 fans, Juventus Stadium offers a thrilling spectacle on game days, though it’s also a popular destination throughout the year. Its Juventus Museum is a popular fan destination, while behind-the-scenes tours of the stadium are offered throughout the week. Juventus Stadium is also host to the Area12 Shopping Center, which comprises numerous shops and food outlets, as well as an official Juventus megastore, where fans can shop for hundreds of themed products and even personalize their own jerseys.

Tickets to the Juventus Museum, as well as combination museum-and-stadium-tour tickets, can be purchased online in advance of your visit.

Things to Know Before You Go

  • For those planning to drive to the stadium, it hosts upwards of 4,000 parking spaces on-site.

  • Tickets to games can typically be booked on Juventus’ website 2–4 weeks in advance; online ticket-exchange platforms offer another, more flexible option.

  • Juventus Stadium is accessible for families and includes discounted family rates as well as stroller-storage facilities.

  • The stadium is known for its green ethos: Materials from the former stadium were reused in its construction, and it employs solar panels and other eco-friendly features.

How to Get There

Juventus Stadium is located just northwest of central Turin; depending on traffic, the drive from the city center typically takes 15–35 minutes. Alternatively, the stadium is served by bus 72 and 72b, as well as tram 3. On game days, the special 9 tram runs between Turin and the stadium.

When to Get There

The Juventus Museum and Juventus Stadium are typically open daily except on Tuesdays and on December 25 (though hours can vary seasonally and due to game schedules). It’s possible to tour the museum and stadium on nongame days, while select tours, held prior to game play, are available at separate rates.

Juventus F.C.

Founded in 1897 and jokingly nicknamed La Vecchia Signora (The Old Woman), Juventus Football Club is one of Italy’s most successful and popular soccer teams. It has won numerous top tournaments, including the UEFA Champions League, and is renowned for its eclectic fanbase: Many Juventus followers hail from across Italy and beyond.
