Lost Souls Alley
Floriańska 6, Krakow, Poland, 31-021
Lost Souls Alley is an interactive museum in Krakow that merges haunted house chills with escape room puzzles. Before entering, visitors select a "pain level" to customize the scare intensity. The goal is to find keys and solve clues while navigating through around 12 horror-themed rooms, intensified by the presence of costumed actors who deliver scares along the way.
The basics
Many travelers experience Lost Souls Alley independently rather than as part of a tour. However, booking tickets in advance is advisable to guarantee a preferred slot. The attraction offers various versions of the experience, graded by different colors and “pain levels”—the red version is the most extreme. Participants then go inside and navigate through various rooms designed to evoke fear and suspense with character actors along the way.
Things to know before you go
Lost Souls Alley requires a minimum of two and a maximum of six participants per experience.
You must be 14 and up to participate in the experience, which lasts approximately 25 minutes.
Lighting up the path or taking photos during your experience is strictly prohibited.
Pregnant women and individuals with cardiac problems are strongly advised against participating.
Proper footwear is required, and individuals wearing high heels, wedge shoes, sandals, or flip-flops may be refused entry.
The experience may not be suitable for those who are claustrophobic or easily frightened.
How to get there
Lost Souls Alley, situated at Floriańska 6 in Kraków's Old Town, is easily accessible by foot or public transport. From Krakow Main Station, it's a 20-minute walk down Florianska. Alternatively, from Stary Kleparz tram stop, located in the north of the Old Town, it's just a 7-minute walk. Trams Nos. 4, 8, 14, 20, and 24 serve this stop. Additionally, buses Nos. 124, 152, and 424 go to the Stary Kleparz bus stop, making it another accessible option.
When to get there
To secure your spot, purchase tickets in advance for Lost Souls Alley, as it's a popular experience. The attraction typically operates throughout the week, with varying hours from midday to mid-evening. Weekends tend to be busier in Krakow, as are peak tourist months such as July through August, so expect crowds if you go then or choose to visit when it's less busy.
Taking photos at Lost Souls Alley
As Lost Souls Alley is predominantly dimly lit, taking photos with mobile phones during the experience isn't allowed. However, visitors have the option to purchase photos. These are usually available in packages, granting access to around 50–60 images online through a designated password provided by the attraction.
