Palazzo Mazzetti

Asti, Piedmont & Liguria

One of Asti’s most beautiful historic palaces, Palazzo Mazzetti is now home to a museum of wide-ranging objects and art. This landmark is notable for its architecture and baroque decoration, plus its collection of porcelain, paintings, and sculptures, complemented by temporary exhibitions. Visitors who are interested in an in-depth experience can make a reservation in advance for a 1- or 2-hour guided tour.

The basics

Choose between exploring Palazzo Mazzetti at your own pace or booking a guided private tour ahead of your visit. Most people spend an hour or two wandering through the museum, from the ornate main floor to the upper floor, which is now home to 19th- and 20th-century paintings and sculptures. Don’t miss a stroll through the Hall of Honor, an 18th-century ballroom with a big Murano glass chandelier.
