Park do Gorilao

The Basics

Choose to enter the park for free and pay individually for rides or purchase a passport with unlimited access to the park’s many attractions. After enjoying rides such as bumper cars, pirate ship, and mini roller coaster, kids can play in the ball pit, zoom down slides, or ride the carousel. Additional paid activities include a bowling alley (with dedicated children’s lanes) and arcade games.

Things to Know Before You Go

• Most rides are aimed at children up to around 10 years old, but there are a few rides that adults and older kids can enjoy. Some rides have minimum height or age restrictions.

• The Novo Shopping Center has shops, a food court, and a multiplex cinema. There are also food kiosks at Park do Gorilao.

• Rides are mostly outdoors, so dress accordingly.

• The park is wheelchair accessible, but not all of the activities are suitable for those with limited mobility.

How to Get There

The Park do Gorilao is located in the Novo Shopping Mall, just east of downtown Ribeirão Preto. Bus G130 takes around 40 minutes from downtown and stops on Avenida Presidente Kennedy outside the mall. Alternatively, it’s a 10-minute drive or taxi ride; free parking is available at the shopping center.

When to Get There

Park do Gorilao is open daily at the same times as the shopping center—from mid afternoon to late evening on weekdays, with slightly extended hours on weekends. Visit on Wednesday for reduced tickets; weekend entry costs the most.
