PushStart Maranello
Via Alfredo Dino Ferrari 41, Maranello, Italy, 41053
Gearheads with a need for speed break for Pushstart Maranello, one of the top providers of behind-the-wheel road and racetrack test-driving experiences in Italy’s famed Motor Valley. Sports-car enthusiasts can put the pedal to the medal and take a Ferrari or Lamborghini out for a spin around the Modena Autodrome track or through the hills of Emilia Romagna.
The basics
Pushstart Maranello offers a wide variety of options so car lovers can create a custom experience with their choice of model, venue, and duration. Each test drive includes an on-board tutor to optimize performance and improve technique; drives can last from a few minutes to a few hours either on an official test track or on the open road through the countryside surrounding Maranello. Located next to the Ferrari Museum, this test-drive experience at Pushstart Maranello is often paired with a guided museum tour or admission tickets for a self-guided visit.
Things to know before you go
Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and meet minimum age requirements.
Track test drives only include the driver and tutor on board; road test drives can also include backseat passengers.
Photo and video services are included and can be viewed and purchased at the end of the drive.
There’s a shop at the Pushstart Maranello location for Ferrari and Lamborghini souvenirs.
How to get there
Pushstart Maranello is located next to the Ferrari Museum in the town of Maranello, about a 20-minute taxi ride from the Modena train station. There’s also a shuttle bus that runs between the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena and the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, which also stops at the train station. Once you get off in front of the Ferrari Museum, Pushstart Maranello is just a short walk away.
When to get there
Track and road test drives can only take place during clear, dry days so book your experience for a day when the forecast doesn’t predict rain or snow. Track test drives are only available for certain dates; book far in advance to guarantee availability if you prefer a track test drive.
Explore the cars of Italy’s Motor Valley
Italy’s most iconic sports cars are produced in a relatively compact area between Modena and Bologna that has come to be known as Motor Valley. In addition to Ferrari, this area is home to the Lamborghini, Maserati, Pagani, and Bugatti factories, plus Ducati motorcycles. Most of these manufacturers have museums with collections of vintage and modern models and some even offer factory tours to see where the motoring magic happens. Enthusiasts can pair a visit to a sports-car museum and factory with a test drive of one of the most famous models.
