Sometimes known as Ripley’s World, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Pattaya combines seven distinct attractions. The classic Ripley’s “Odditorium,” with 10 galleries of bizarre exhibits, is the star of the show. But you can also enjoy waxworks, two spectacular mazes, a haunted house, a shooting ride, and a “9D” multisensory moving cinema.
The Basics
Choose between individual tickets or a range of combo tickets, including family options, for the seven attractions in Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Pattaya. Online tickets are usually a better value than paying at the door.
Classic Ripley’s attractions include: Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium, a selection of weird displays; Ripley’s Scream in the Dark, a shooting ride beset by scary characters; and Ripley’s Haunted Adventure, a haunted house. More high-tech are Ripley’s Moving Theater 9DX, a 3D motion cinema; an Infinity Maze full of optical illusions; and the Vault Laser Maze Challenge, a web of colored light beams. Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks features more than 60 models of famous people.
Things to Know Before You Go
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Pattaya is an excellent rainy-day attraction, perfect with kids or your inner child.
The Odditorium, Scream in the Dark, and Haunted Adventure may be too much for younger or more sensitive children.
Kids under 2 feet 8 inches tall (80 centimeters tall) get in free.
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Pattaya is not wheelchair-accessible.
How to Get There
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Pattaya is located in the heart of downtown Pattaya, less than 10 minutes’ walk north of Pattaya Walking Street. Thebaht bus (asongthaew, or covered pickup vehicle) that runs the Beach Road and Second Road loop from Walking Street can stop at the door. Travelers staying farther afield may want to book packages that include transfers.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Pattaya is open from morning until surprisingly late in the evening seven days a week. It’s rarely crowded, so the perfect choice for a rainy day.
The Story of Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
Robert Ripley, the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! founder, started his career with a cartoon about sports records more than 100 years ago. The cartoon sparked a world tour, which inspired books and a radio show. In 1933, Ripley opened his first Odditorium, displaying weird and wonderful items he’d collected on his travels. Today, the Ripley’s brand covers more than 100 attractions in locations from Denmark to Mexico and from Korea to Tennessee.
