Things to know before you go

There’s a small entrance fee to access Rose Valley. The garden is largely shaded, making it suitable for most weather conditions. Rose Valley is not wheelchair-accessible, as there are steps throughout.

How to get there

Rose Valley is in the Cameron Highlands, along the main road to Brinchang Town. There’s also a daily bus from Tanah Rata in the morning. Rose Valley is also included in many sightseeing tours of the Cameron Highlands, with transfers from Ipoh or Kuala Lumpur.

When to get there

Rose Valley is open daily from morning until early evening. Most of the garden is shaded, which makes it suitable for visiting even on a rainy day. Visit in the late afternoon for the best lighting, and smaller crowds. Different flowers bloom at different times of the year—check the website to see what’s flowering.

The highlights of Cameron Lavender Garden

Not far from Rose Valley is the Cameron Lavender Garden. It showcases several varieties of lavender along with other varieties of flowers. In addition to the flower fields, the garden also features statues, a mini castle, a fortress, windmill, a koi pond, a viewing deck, mini-mart, a shopping arcade, and a café that serves treats such as lavender ice cream and pastries.
