The Basics

Splash the Fun World offers an escape from Ahmedabad’s hot weather. Relax in the pools (including a wave pool), have fun on waterslides and other rides, and relax in the shade of the trees. While Splash the Fun World is primarily a water park, there are also some dry amusements and rides, including a train for kids, which are open in the evenings.

Things to Know Before You Go

• Visitors must wear appropriate synthetic or lycra swimwear, which can be rented.

• Children under 34 inches (88 centimeters) enter for free.

• Visitors may not bring outside food or drinks into the park. Food is available in the park, but options are limited.

• The water quality and maintenance of some of the rides are not always very high, so exercise caution before jumping into the water or onto a ride.

How to Get There

Splash the Fun World is west of central Ahmedabad, off the Sanand-Sarkhej Road. The best way to reach the park is by private car, taxi, or auto-rickshaw. If coming from central Ahmedabad, turn left off the main road, just past the Adarsh Orthopaedic Hospital.

When to Get There

The water park is open every day from late morning until evening, and the dry amusement park is open in the evenings. It can get very busy during the weekends and school holidays, so come mid-week if you want to avoid the crowds.

Visit Ahmedabad’s Kankaria Lake

For another fun, family-friendly attraction in Ahmedabad, head to Kankaria Lake. This perfectly round lake near the city center was once a royal bathing pond. Today there are lots of attractions and facilities around the water’s edge, including a toy train, food stalls, a water park, a zoo, and a butterfly park.
