Campground Overview

Michigan's Best Individual, Family and Group Camping

Manton Trails RV Park, Hotel & Campground is located between Traverse City and Cadillac in the quaint town of Manton, Michigan.  The park is spread across 80 acres in the Manistee River and Manistee Forest area of Northern Michigan.  From the property, you can hike to the Manistee River or ride from your site to the ATV Trails and State “MISS-KAL” Trailhead.  Bring your ORV, Side-by-Side, or UTV, there is plenty of trailer parking.  Boat and ATV rentals are nearby. We can also store your RV, boat, or trailer for the Winter inside our massive 12,000sf storage building. 

Manton Trails offers free concerts at Manton Trails and RV Park, Hotel & Campground to guests and local residents.

Check In

Check In Time: 3PM | We offer self check-in only, please confirm your site or hotel room number on your reservation and proceed directly to that site when you arrive. Please call us for late check-ins, we might be able to accommodate you.

Rules

PROPERTY RULES: No towels or other objects hanging from front porch railings. Parking permits will be issued to all Guests. Excessive noise is prohibited. Fireworks & Firearms are prohibited.

DAMAGES: Management will charge a discretionary fee for any damages that occur to the unit or surrounding property during the time of your visit, damage fees will be charged to the credit card used to reserve the unit.

LINENS & TOWELS: The appropriate number of towels will be provided with hotel unit. Fresh linens and towels are provided at the time of your arrival.

TRASH: No trash service is provided. Guests are responsible for removing all trash from their unit and placing it in the campground dumpster. No trash containers are permitted outside the unit doors. All trash must be placed in campground dumpster on North side of the property.

GRILLS: No personal grills, hibachis, etc. may be brought to or used at the Hotel.

OCCUPANCY: Accommodations and amenities may only be used by the number of adults and children specified in the unit description on the website.

Please respect check-in and check-out time, as we need to prepare the unit for the next guest. Late check-outs will be charged $100.00 for each hour after 11:00 AM. There is no need to visit Michiganvacation.org, LLC upon check-out, simply leave your key & remote on the dresser, lock the room door and turn off AC and lights as you depart. Empty your trash into campground dumpsters.

ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES: Use of illegal substances is prohibited. In addition, smoking synthetic cannabis, medical marijuana, SPICE, K2 or incense is prohibited indoors and outdoors at any of the hotel. Violators will be asked to leave without refund.

PARKING: All vehicles must display a valid parking permit. Parking is limited and may not exceed one vehicle per unit without permission and fee.

SMOKING: All units are 100% non-smoking. A $250.00 smoking fine is enforced and will be charged to the credit card given at the time the reservation was made if this provision is violated. If you need to smoke, please smoke outdoors. In addition, smoking synthetic cannabis, medical marijuana, SPICE, K2, or incense is prohibited indoors and outdoors. Violators will be asked to leave without refund.

Lake/Pond: No lifeguard is on duty. Swim at your own risk. Please no disposable diapers in the Lake/Pond; swim diapers must be used. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. No fishing allowed.

PETS: Pets must be always kept on a leash. Limit 2 dogs per unit. Dogs must be picked up after! Pets are not to be tied outside of your RV when you are not there and are not to be left unattended at any time. No ground tie-downs permitted. If any pet demonstrates aggressive behavior toward another pet or camper, you will be leaving the property. No excessive barking. Pet fee is $45/pet for the length of your stay.

RESPONSIBILITY: Prices, property and other specifications are subject to change without notice. If a reserved unit becomes unavailable or uninhabitable due to circumstances beyond our control, every effort will be made to obtain alternative property accommodations. We are not responsible for acts of God, power, internet speed or disruption and air conditioning interruptions, repair, and maintenance delays, etc. Your patience and understanding are appreciated.

RIGHT OF ENTRY: MichiganVacation.org, LLC or its authorized agents may need to enter the unit for the purpose of inspection or maintenance. MichiganVacation.org, LLC retains a key to each unit for this purpose. Our best efforts will be made to prevent any inconvenience or disruption of your vacation.

LICENSE TO USE UNIT: This agreement is not a real estate lease, but a license, and the Guest’s status is that of a licensee, not a tenant. No property or possessory interest in the unit is being conveyed by this license, rather the Guest is acquiring a license to temporarily occupy and use the unit, subject to all applicable hotel rules and regulations. MichiganVacation.org, LLC reserves the right to terminate this license at any time. There is NO tenants’ rights at this hotel.

HOUSEKEEPING: Daily housekeeping is NOT included but is available for an additional charge.

CAMPGROUND GUEST RULES

QUIET HOURS: 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. All children under 18 must be on their site by 9:00 p.m.

HOTEL GUEST RULES

TRASH must be disposed of each night because of bears and other wildlife. For the safety of all campers, PLEASE DON’T LEAVE FOOD or TRASH OUT or IN TENTS

BE COURTEOUS AND RESPECTFUL to your neighbors. Please follow only designated roads or walkways. Please do not cut through occupied RV sites. Help everyone have a Great Vacation!

CAMPFIRES are not permitted on the ground. Please only use the provided fire rings. Please do not move fire rings.

SITES: One trailer and one vehicle per camping site max OR one tent and one vehicle per site max. No boats, jet skis or boat trailers on your site at any time. (Additional parking is available) No grey water dumped on ground. No vehicle repairs on site. Do not wash your car or RV in the campground. All vehicles must display an MV Parking Pass. Maximum of 6 people per site including daily guests. Seasonal Guests may obtain permission.

FIREWOOD: We have bundles of firewood for sale for $8/bundle or 3 bundles for $20. We will bring firewood around the campground at 6pm. No outside firewood is allowed because invasive species of insects can ruin our local forests. Bags of Ice are also available for $8.

RUGS: Rugs bigger than 3’ x 2’ are not allowed as it kills the grass and creates mud. We want your site to look good for both you and the next guest.

Trees: Please do not climb the trees or cut down firewood, our goal is to enjoy nature and leave it better for our grandchildren! We encourage wood and sticks to be collected from the woods without the aid of chainsaws, axes, etc.

Toys: ATV’s, 3 or 4 wheelers, motorized scooters, motorcycles, or golf carts are to be used Only for transportation in and out of the park and NOT to be ridden around the park-Too many kids and park safety is our priority. No vehicles can be driven on the grass, park trails or near the pond. Check out how close we are to the “MISS-KAL” ORV Trailhead and surrounding State land. Again, In and Out ONLY.

FIREARMS AND FIREWORKS are strictly prohibited for the safety of all campers. Police will be called, and you will be leaving the property.

VISITORS: Visitors must register at the office upon arrival. All campers are responsible for their visitors. Maximum of 6 people per site including visitors.
