Campground Overview
Introduction
North Gorge is a small, but popular, campground at the northeast edge of the park. A few sites are large enough for an RV, but most are built for tent camping. The campground is set in a grove of pines on the edge of the lake. A boat launch and dock are on the north or right side of the main loop. In the summer, North Gorge is busy on the weekends.

Summer weather is hot and buggy, with highs averaging in the 90s and lows in the 50s. Rain and thunderstorms can happen any time of year. In the winter, expect cold temperatures and snow. Temperatures can vary in spring and fall. Be prepared for many types of weather in all seasons.

North Gorge is located off of WA-25. From Kettle Falls, drive north on US-395. Turn right onto WA-25 North. Follow WA-25 North for approximately 16.4 miles. Turn left at the North Gorge Campground sign.

Individual Campsite
The fee for an individual campsite per night. Group size limit is 10 people and 2 vehicles. All standard camping fees are 50 percent off with an eligible America the Beautiful Senior or Access Pass. Group size limit is 10 people and 2 vehicles

Fire/Stove Policy
Fires are permitted only in the designated fire rings, and only as long as there are no burn bans or dangerous fire weather.Regulations Overview
Maximum Stay: Camping is limited to 14 consecutive nights per campground within a 30-day period and not more than 60 total nights per calendar year anywhere within Lake Roosevelt. These limits apply to all camping activities within Lake Roosevelt. No more than two vehicles and ten people at each campsite. Check-In: 1:00 PM. Check-Out Time: Noon. Quiet Hours: From 10 pm to 6 am. This includes generators. Nighttime Closures: Campgrounds are closed to non-registered campers from 10 pm to 6am. Site Occupation: All sites MUST be occupied each night. You may not pay for these sites and leave your belongings in them without nightly occupancy. Property left unattended for 24 hours will be considered abandoned. Leave No Trace: The wheels of all vehicles and trailers must be within the designated parking space and not on the roadway or vegetation. Do not attach wires, ropes, or nails to trees or shrubs. Digging, leveling, or other alterations of the ground is not permitted.Accessibility

Both campground pit toilets are wheelchair accessible. All campground roads are paved, but footpaths between campsites are not wheelchair accessible. Access to the boat launch is paved. Access to the courtesy dock is not paved. Access to Walk-in tent sites are unpaved, uneven paths.

RV Information
RVs and trailers are allowed at North Gorge; six campsites allow for RV parking. Maximum lengths are: site 2 – 20 feet; site 3 – 18 feet; site 5 – 26 feet; site 6 – 36 feet; site 7 – 28 feet. There is no designated boat/ trailer parking. Vehicles, trailers, or RVs cannot be parked on the grass or anywhere except the designated parking spot for each site. North Gorge Campground does not have hookups.

Each campsite has a parking space, picnic table, and fire pit with grate. There is a boat launch (1280’) and courtesy dock. There is no designated parking for boats/ trailers.

ADA Information
Campground roads and campsite parking spaces are paved. Campsite areas, like picnic tables and fire pits, are unpaved and may be uneven. Campsite 1 is a designated ADA site with paved parking space and even ground. The closest pit toilet to Campsite 1 has a paved sidewalk pathway.
