Campground Overview

Updog RV & Camping is a campground located near Mount Pleasant, Iowa. It features full hookup campsites with many of them being pull through accessible. The park allows pets, and has a dump station. Campsite amenities offered include picnic tables and fire circles. It also includes basic amenities like restrooms with hot showers. Visitors can also enjoy activities such as biking, hiking, and wildlife watching.

Check In

Check In Time: 1PM | Come to the office and we will direct you to your site. If you made a same-day reservation after-hours drive to your site and check in during the next business hours.

Rules

We hope your stay with us will be comfortable and enjoyable. In order that all may have the best experience possible, we ask that you adhere to the following rules.

Important notice for Passport America members and guests: Please make sure to call us directly to receive your Passport America discounts otherwise you'll be paying full price. Passport America: Mon-Thur 50% discount on 1 night (Cannot be used on a holiday)

Please check with management if you are hosting a picnic or family gathering and will have guests visiting all day, as an additional fee may apply. As we are in the county and not in the town limits, we are assessed an additional fee for water and sewer here, and because of this we ask that you help us to keep our water bill down!! Thank you!

Only 1 RV/Motorhome/Camper & vehicle allowed per site. Additional vehicles are an additional $10 per night charge. This park has the right to refuse any RV, Motorhome, Pull-Behind Camper, 5th wheel, bus or converted vehicle over 10 years old or in disrepair.

Airtight sewer boots are required.

Check out of the campground is 12:00 noon, and a $1 per hour charge will be assessed until 5:00 when you will be charged a full night’s stay.

Washing of vehicles is not allowed, and swimming pools or large vessels of water are not to be filled unless paying an extra fee. No sprinklers or watering systems are to be run.

No trash is to accumulate beside RV. All trash & cigarette butts must be bagged & placed in dumpster. All toys, lawn furniture, grills, etc. must be out of the way when lawn maintenance is going on and contained to your RV site only.

No swimming

No swimming is allowed in the pond. Fishing is allowed to all registered guests with a valid fishing license. You assume all liability when using the pond. We are not responsible for accidents.

Please be courteous of your neighbors and respect their right to privacy and peace and quiet. No loud parties or noise after 10:00 P.M. on the weekdays and 11:00 P.M. on Friday and Saturday nights.

Pets

Pets are welcome in the campground, but must be contained or kept on a leash and all messes picked up. All dogs must be inside the RV/Motorhome/Camper or kennel at night. Aggressive or noisy dogs may result in the guest being asked to leave. The management reserves the right to limit the size, breed or the quantity of dogs per guest. Do not leave pets unattended. A maximum of 3 pets per site.

Dump Station and Water

The dump station and water fill are available on site for non-registered guests. A $10 charge will be collected for the dump station or for water fill.

It is our pleasure to share this private property with our guests, but if a violation of the rules occurs, it is our right to ask you to leave this campground. We reserve the right to ask you to leave, or refuse to allow undesirable guests to park. If you are evicted for any reason, you will not receive a refund. THANK YOU!

Shower house and restroom

Facilities are provided for guest use only. If you or your guests are found to have vandalized the shower house or left it in “less than ideal” condition, you will be asked to leave the campground.

Firewood

Firewood is available for your use. It is located at the side of the house (office). You may pick it up and pay for it there.
