The hotel was in the heart of the city, and within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, waterfront and historic sites. The hotel room was very nice, with a view of the city from the 4th floor. The only small complaint, was that there wasn't anyone for over 20 minutes, to help us when it came to getting tickets for a trolley, or ask someone about places to go, etc.. We asked an employee who was on the phone at an adjacent counter, for help, but they didn't care enough to page someone for us, only that the Concierge will be back. Other than that, the hotel was clean and very nice.

There was an overwhelming smell of perfume or room spray in the lobby and hallways almost like they were trying to cover up the scent of something. The stairway smelled damp, mildewy, and musty like there was a leak at some point. It was centrally located to shopping, museums, and restaurants.

Great location right in the heart of downtown Savannah. Walking distance to River Street and many restaurants and nightlife. Room was spacious but for the price, there was an expectation of better cleanliness. Lots of dust/dirt in many areas. Front desk staff were knowledgeable and nice.
