This iconic resort is legendary for providing a total vacation experience. Suites are spread out in a variety of buildings. All are noteworthy, but the premier luxury units are outstanding. Enjoy the myriad sights, like the equestrian center, Minitas Beach and the restaurants, spread out over 7,000 acres as you travel by personal golf cart. And not to be missed it the amazing recreated village of Altos de Chavon. Most of the guest rooms are relatively close to the main building, the outstanding pool and two of their best restaurants. Meets AAA guest room security requirements. Smoke free premises. 317 units, some two bedrooms. 1-2 stories (no elevator), exterior corridors.

The resort is amazingly beautiful ! The service is impeccable. There are many activities and places to go. My only complaint is that there was no nightlife, no Dominican music which we expected to dance to.
