Under renovation, we were never told! Appearance from outside, falling down. Beverage machine broken and the same with ice machine. Was told I could go to the store down the road🤷‍♀️ That evening went to talk with someone at the desk. When I arrived, no one was there but a note stating they were either in the laundry room or out back🤷‍♀️ Even if I wanted to find the individual, there were no signs the doors and groups of men in front and in back drinking alcohol!! I felt very uncomfortable and NOT safe! I was told that this was the closest place to were we wanted to go and taking AAA. We found a Best Western up the road a mile or two and had dinner and found out they have always accepted AAA.😩. Unfortunately we went back to the Bates motel because we had already paid. Also we were told they had a continental breakfast but that never happened either because they do not have it. It does state at the time of booking the they had it. No Wi-Fi either. So for $84.00 for the one night, you tell me was that a great deal!!! I rate this place 0 Stars!
