The debut of the inspired Graduate collection of hotels, this gorgeous modern property on the Cornell Tech campus is also the first hotel ever on Manhattan’s Roosevelt Island. Rooms have character. Full of whimsical touches and playful motifs, the hotel is filled with modern art and Cornell University artifacts juxtaposed with FDR and NYC memorabilia. Every aspect of the hotel is social-media meme-ready and has a story to tell. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, not lavish, but with views of the East River and New York skylines which are purely spectacular. Dining and rooftop lounges are top-notch. I was incorrectly charged. They said I would receive a new invoice and never did. They charged my credit card anyway. Now having to fight it. Food at the hotel restaurant was average at best but so expensive. The island is amazing and the hotel is cool. But I would t do it again
Its a fun place, especially for academics. The island is a little far from the city, but that's one of the charming things about it. The staff are kind and very accommodating.
