Rooms are spacious, some feature a sofa sleeper and a dry bar. The large, modern lobby is a delight and provides guests with a nice gathering spot. The long pool offers an inviting recreation option. Smoke free premises. 120 units. 4 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Great stay as it typically is at a Hampton Inn. This hotel is walking distance from the historic district which worked well for me. My only complaint (which I should make to hotel management) is that it charges PAYING GUESTS $20/day for parking, explained as "because we are in the historic district" where there is paid parking everywhere. However, I feel the hotel could/should charge non-guests the parking fee, not the guests (who have to keep a parking pass on the dashboard to show they are staying there so please don't tow the car). Otherwise, a positive experience.
"Downtown" St Augustine, in the normally accepted definition of the word is in the heart of a city. In St Augustine, apparently, "downtown" should really be advertised as "old town". The hotel, while more than adequate..except for no hot water for morning showers..was a 1.5 mile walk to get to the city wide trolley to take me to "old town"
I was very happy with the arrangements. I am short and have a back problems, so I could not get on the bed. I asked if they had anything I could step on and they accommodated me. It worked out very well.
The room was clean and comfortable. Even though they were in the process of remodeling the staff was very accommodating. They were unable to do a hot breakfast but supplied a breakfast bag with a nice selection of foods.
Hotel under construction, rooms were cleaned but hotel not to clean. Breakfast could be a bit better. Hotel security needs to improve ( hotel back doors not secured at night)
