In the heart of the historic Spanish Quarter overlooking Matanzas Bay and the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, the hotel features some guest units with balconies. The hotel resembles a small village, made up of several buildings, which are all connected together through an intricate system of corridors. Smoke free premises. 72 units. 2 stories, interior corridors.

room per night is pricey, but you are paying for the location which can't be beat if you are planning to enjoy the historic district. Rooms have been renovated nicely and staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is $40 a night. We only stayed one night so we parked in the public parking garage near the visitors center ($20). However, its about an 8 minute walk to the hotel.
