This sprawling resort on the banks of the James River offers extensive golf facilities, a full-service spa, a new family pool with lazy river and waterslide, and a beach area with water sports. Choose from traditional hotel rooms as well as large one- and two-bedroom suites with full kitchens and laundry facilities. We stayed here 20 years ago with our kids - still a great place with plenty to do It’s definitely gotten a little run down / dated , but still not bad Used the gyms twice - none of the mens lockers (locks) work, and no towels in the gym Booked thru AAA. They word it like it’s a Riverview room , but it wasn’t . Not a big deal, but I’ve run into this with AAA before - the way the descriptions are worded can be a little deceiving
