    We were woken early both mornings by residents of the adjacent room showering. It was so loud I thought it was the shower in my room. Also, sliding door to bathroom would not stay shut.

    We paid for "Concierge Lounge Access" and when we arrived, all that was offered were sodas, water, coffee and trail mix (no wine or food). We found empty food warmers and an empty desk. We were told that the Concierge was not in full mode on weekends...(SO WHY WAS I CHARGED???) The room did not have a mini fridge, robe, slippers, or mirror with extra power like most "standard" rooms offer. The arm chair was pretty old and stained. GOOD NEWS: The bed was very comfortable and the support staff was professional and very accommodating. After I spoke with a front desk representative, we were given a free breakfast voucher and the room rate was lowered to standard price. Would I return or recommend the hotel...NO! I felt ripped off.

    My third and last time booking with this hotel. Good location in the heart of Gaslamp and everything is local but staff has some kinks to work out… during my last stay the lobby was a mess as NONE of the rooms were ready at check in time so lobby was full of everyone waiting for a room key. Staff did not offer any type of discount, vouchers or anything…
