This lushly landscaped resort offers spacious studio suites with luxury appointments, mini-kitchens and a balcony. Two-room oceanfront king suites are also available. On-site amenities include an upscale steak house, a family sports bar and multiple pools. Relax by one of the fire pits in the evening or challenge someone to a game of life-size chess and checkers; you will not find a shortage of family-friendly activities. Hotel is currently being renovated. hotel check in lobby is hard to locate when drive onto property. rooms need to be updated. furniture is stained with suntan oil and grime. had to put towel down on sofa before sitting on it. bathrooms are very old dated and a complete change out. Hilton DoubleTree hotels are not the premier hotel of yesterday.
For the most part the hotel was fine. The room was large but the closet/ bathroom door layout was poor. Also, the adult pool water was very cloudy and the steps into the pool were slippery. The charge for the beach chairs and umbrella was high considering everyone is charged a daily resort fee.

I had an amazing time during my stay at the Omni Hilton Head Resort. The amenities were perfect for a relaxing vacation with access to multiple pools, the beach, fire pits and activities for the whole family. However, I must say, the amenities are only the tip of the iceberg. The true gems of this resort are the exceptional staff members! Their hospitality made my vacation a home away from home! Samar and Jermaine started our trip off with the warmest and most helpful welcome. We were pleasantly greeted and our luggage was quickly escorted to the room. They conveniently notified us of all the amenities the resort had to offer and were happy to drive us, by shuttle, to all of our dinner locations. Garfield and David at The Breeze Bar were a dynamic duo! They both made the most delicious drinks and the service was exceptional! They recommended the perfect drinks to compliment each hot day by the pool. Mat was another amazing bartender who always greeted my sisters and I with a smile! Overall it is safe to say that my time at the Omni was an absolute pleasure. When checkout came, I was not ready to go home! I would definitely recommend this facility, and I will certainly be back!!!
