Best Western Plus Newport News Inn & Suites

Mildew smell in the rooms, bed sagging, roaches., and hair. Complain to the front desk about roaches in the room, offered a second room smelled like mildew. Nope, I left!!!

Clean and looks nice. Paper thin walls so could hear the slightest sound from next door. Our towel rack fell off the wall. Companions rooms toilet seat was broken. Heard a number of guests tell of things broken in their rooms. Staff was very helpful and responsive so give them 5 stars.

I only stayed only one night because of vehicle issues. The room was large and appeared newly decorated. The lounge area also appeared newly decorated. The breakfast buffet missed nothing. They covered it all. The room was one of the cleanest I have ever patronized. The television programming is also the best I have ever experienced. I watched channels I never heard of or realized they even existed. You cannot get bored. However, the television has to be operated using two remotes and a wire antenna. If they resolve this problem, I would rate this with 5 stars vice 4. Last but not least is Abbey. She is the front desk clerk that I checked in with. She is kind, courteous, and has a sweet demeanor. When I called the front desk to inquire about the television because initially I was only able to get one channel, she did not hesitate to come up to the third floor at lightning speed to resolve the issue.

Our room was clean, breakfast was very good.

Happy, courteous staff, decent breakfast, everything clean and carefully maintained. No hair dryer, but I didn't need it. Temperature and air fan easy to adjust. Near restaurants and attractions.
