Got there a few minutes before 3 - which is their check-in time. Was told I had to wait until 3. Personnel were kind. Room was clean. Expensive 1 night stay, but I guess those are NYC area prices.

Comfortable beds and clean room. Someone’s leftovers were in the refrigerator. Front desk staff seemed very unhappy at check in. Convenient location to visit Hofstra and Adelphi.
I would rate this hotel at about 2 1/2 stars. It is an older unit which may have been recycled to another hotel chain. Things look to have been updated but it may be time to update them again. It is close to a major highway but the area was quiet at night. The attendant on duty at check-in was surly. The attendant at check-out was quite friendly. You have to drive to find a restaurant. I would stay there again but not if I was trying to impress a person I was with. The room has a safe for your valuables but according to the instructions you have to pay to use it. The room also has a small refrigerator and a microwave oven which was nice.
