This was our first time staying here. The hotel was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The location was right downtown and close to restaurants.
tub/shower was plugged up, there was no water for the coffee maker when I asked for water they charged me $2 for the water, the paint was cracked and peeling around the windows, overall sloppy infrastructure maintenance.
It is a beautiful old hotel, the room looked new. It had a large clean bathroom but the layout of the bathroom made it difficult to get ready in the morning. Couldn't get in front of the mirror because of a shelf, no table or shelf to put our makeup os shaving material on. The problem may have been that it was a handy cap room. The biggest overall problem with the hotel was it's lack of personnel. There wes no one to take our bags to and from the room and I am 76 and my wife 68 and we had to do it all ourselves. The only positive was the Valet parking attendants who helped us whenever they could.

1st we were given one of the worst rooms in the hotel and when we asked to change rooms we were told that that was impossible and that they would see about changing our room the next day which never happened. 2nd the food wasn’t good at all. Thirdly the towels were very hard and the bathroom was set up not to accommodate usage, it wasn’t a pleasant stay at all.

Room was small with one chair for two people. Nice bathroom and bed. Rooftop restaurant was closed. Desk staff and valets were pleasant and efficient.
