I knew the condo had been damaged by the hurricane and I expected a refurbished unit. While the carpet, the paintings, and furnishings were new, the plumbing fixtures had not been replaced and were corroded and not working properly , the dishwasher looked like it had water damage, some of the lamps did not work. The kitchen was very sparsely equipped. Some of the painting work was sloppily done. I felt like the condo should have been completely redone.

We stayed in the Harbourside Hotel at the marina. This resort was everything we were looking for. It was quiet (went off season) and not a high-rise hotel. The pools were great, when they weren't closed for lightening in the area. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were very large. The trolley was great for getting around, as was the addition of renting our bikes. We had a few minor challenges that wouldn't change the way we thought of the property...The first was with not having enough parking. I can only imagine how difficult it is to park in season. The 2nd was not having enough seating at the pool. We also wished that the pool was open later at night. I would also love to see evening entertainment. You have dinner and and then you are done for the night. We ended up taking walks at 10:15 around the marina just to get out. Other than that, we loved our time spent and can't wait to return someday!
