This newly-renovated hotel is easily accessible from the freeway and only a short walk to the beach, pier, shops and restaurants. Rooms are spacious and stylishly furnished with pillow-top beds. Very nice hotel with a very good location. Very friendly staff. They offer yoga on the beach on Saturdays and beach chairs etc. at no charge.. We enjoyed our stay there and would go back again.

The Pierside Santa Monica was not completed when we stayed. The pool, exercise room and restaurant were not available for us to use but our room was very clean and comfortable. The robes are thick and soft. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful. You can walk to the pier, ocean, lots of restaurants and shops. There is even a great farmers market on Wednesday mornings. I am sure when all is up and running the The Pierside will have lots of happy guests.. It's a very eclectic fun place.
